What are they?

Boolean Operators are simple words (AND, OR, NOT or AND NOT) used to combine or exclude keywords in a search, resulting in more productive, focused, and useful results. This should save a great deal of time and effort by eliminating inappropriate hits that must be reviewed before discarding.
