The Virtual Support Residency (VSR) is a virtual weekend experience each trimester designed to support 4th year (and beyond) preCandidacy students who are working on their Learning Achievements (LA).  Participation in each trimester’s VSR is highly recommended for all pre-candidacy 4th year and beyond students and is required for all students on Learning Plans, unless otherwise stipulated by one’s advisor.

All VSRs are designed to have the student set aside a full weekend with specific LA goals. Prior to signing up for the VSR, students should consult with their advisor regarding their participation establish concrete, realistic, and constructive goals for the VSR.

The purpose of the VSR is to provide a set-aside time, peer support, and accountability systems that help to achieve realistic goals towards the completion of specific LAs.
