How to Use LibKey

Introduction

Antioch has numerous online resources. Through our database subscriptions, we have access to academic articles from top journals. While searching our catalog and databases are the best way to search for what we own, sometimes you're searching around the web and see an article that may be of interest to you. If you want to see if we have access to it, there's a browser add on to find out!

How to Use LibKey

LibKey Nomad is a browser extension that facilitates access to the Libraries' full text resources as you find research on the web. LibKey Nomad provides one-click access to the full text of articles from websites such as Wikipedia, PubMed, and others.

Currently, LibKey Nomad is available for the following browsers:

  • Google Chrome
  • Firefox
  • Microsoft Edge
  • Brave
  • Vivaldi
How to set up LibKey Nomad
  1. Go to the Download LibKey Nomad website
  2. Click on the icon for your browser of choice and follow the prompts to add the extension
  3. Choose Antioch University as your institution

Using LibKey Nomad

Look for the LibKey Nomad button on websites with article information, like PubMed, Wikipedia, and publisher websites. You may see one of following icons:

  • Download PDF: The Antioch Libraries have this item and you can download the full-text PDF with one click.
  • Article Link: The Antioch Libraries has this item and you'll be directed to the article page where you can download the full text.
  • Access Options: The Antioch Libraries may not have access to this item, but you'll be directed to the catalog where you can make a request via We Deliver.
